How to Cancel PayPal Recurring Payments

PayPal has been helpful when it comes to secure transactions online. However, there are times when you’re not aware that a merchant can automatically charge your account once you have had a transaction with them.

This is common for purchases that need recurring payments. When you don’t want to have to go back and pay your subscription every time, Paypal automatic payments is a good feature for you. To those who like to cancel PayPal recurring payments, just follow the steps below.

Step 1

Login to your PayPal account. From your dashboard, click on the PROFILE tab.

Step 2

On the sidebar, click on MY MONEY.

Step 3

Look for the section "My preapproved payments" and click update.

Step 4

The page will show you the merchants that have your Paypal automatic payments activated. Choose one of those merchants, and click on their name.

Step 5

Find the status of your authorization and click Cancel.



Confirm that you want to cancel your subscription and you're done. Now, you don't have to worry about being automatically charged again.
