Its Importance in Travel
Companies like American Airlines have quickly created travel apps in preparation of the official launching of Apple Watch. The American Airlines app lets their passengers get updates quickly. Another thing to love about the app is that it offers an airport map. It can also be an alternative to the usual phone and paper boarding cards.
The Starwood Hotel Chain also partnered with Apple Watch to maximize modern technology. With Starwood’s app, guests wouldn’t have to stop by the front desk and fill out forms. Aside from that, the watch can also be used as a keyless entry. It is also helpful when it comes to directions. Starwood claims that their app has the same features provided in on mobiles, but the watch version is more powerful.
Other apps include Uber, for hassle-free ride around town, TripAdvisor, that will help travelers decide on the best places to go to, and restaurants to dine in. Even Expedia joined in the buzz. They let users review their itinerary and get updates about hotels and flights. Alarm.com, on the other hand, allows travelers to check on their homes while they are away.
Do you love traveling? What do you think of the new Apple Watch?
