How to Earn Money Writing for Ghostbloggers.net

If you are new to freelancing and making money online, you may wonder if it is possible for individuals to actually make a living through writing. Here's a straight answer: there are a lot of people who make thousands by writing high quality articles, may it be from their blog of through a revenue sharing website. Ghostbloggers, however, is a website that offers a unique way for writers to make bank with their skills. This article will show you how to earn money writing and selling them online.

Ghostbloggers.Net is one of the websites I ran to whenever my articles get rejected by my clients. But it is not just a website to throw your rejected articles. Ghostbloggers is actually a place website owners find lots of high quality articles for their blog or website.

I have been writing for Ghostbloggers for 2 years now, and I never had negative experiences with them as a writer. This website is definitely legit.

How it works

If you are familiar with ArticleSale, you will have an idea of how GhostBloggers works. If you are a writer, you can earn by submitting articles to them, and if your article is approved, it will be posted for sale. Note that when your article is sold, you will no longer have the rights over it. It means that the client will publish the article under their own name.

On Ghostbloggers, you set your own price per word. The default price is $3.50 per 100 words. You can change it, but be sure that your price is reasonable.

Ghostbloggers is also a great website for publishers who are looking for high quality articles they can use for their website. Every article listed for sale has been reviewed by the editors of the site. Clients are also presented with an excerpt from the article to help them decide whether it is the one they are interested in.

What if my article is rejected?

There are times when editors think that a certain article doesn’t make the cut. In those cases, they will notify the writer if their article is rejected or needs editing.

I appreciate the Ghostbloggers editors because they do their best to correct mistakes without offending their writers. They really work with the writers so they can post their articles for sale.

If your article needs editing, make sure to follow the editor’s guidelines to pass their requirements. Before submitting your article for review, proof-reading is always a must.

Article approval

Usually, it takes at least 24 hours before your article gets approved. If it does, you will see it in the pool of articles for sale. You will notice that the price you set is lower than the posted price. This is because Ghostbloggers does not collect fees from the price you set. Instead, they add the fee on top of the price you set. Sounds great, right?

When your article is sold

Congratulations! Someone bought your article! You will receive an email letting you know that you sold an article, plus how much you earned from it. The amount will automatically be reflected on your Ghostbloggers dashboard.

Payout

Ghostblogger’s minimum payout is $20. You can simply withdraw your money from the dashboard and it will be sent to your PayPal in a few weeks.

UPDATE: I feel like I needed to warn my readers of Ghostbloggers.net. I last wrote for them 2 years ago. I still have 5 articles posted there, and it's unusual that none has been sold since I last withdrew from them. It has been a long time. Also, there are complaints about them. Check out the comment section below.

Thanks to Crystal Ray and Ken for the comments. I assume they changed management (since web developers nowadays love to sell their website once it is earning a decent amount of money).

My review with them is based on what I experienced 2 years ago. If you choose to consider this website, please be careful. You have been warned.
