Unlike Facebook, users do not have the option to invite their connections to follow a company page. This could be the easiest way to let others know of your company page, but sadly, we couldn’t do that right now.
Below are some of the ways I believe will help anyone increase their LinkedIn page followers.
1. Connect with as many people as you can
Connecting with others on LinkedIn is also not simple. The search bar is handy this time. You can just type in keywords (niche, or category), and check “People” on the sidebar to filter your search. Company owners and other users who are interested in the keyword you have inserted will show up in the search results. Go ahead and click Connect.
2. Post updates regularly
3. Join groups related to your page
Say your company is about blogging, it would be smart to join groups related to writing, or blogging. This way, you will be able to meet others who may be interested in your page. You can also connect with them, but this takes patience. You know, LinkedIn loves making things tough for its users.
4. Share page updates to your profile
One of the basics of social media marketing - sharing. This is the reason why you should connect to as many people as you can. What’s the point of sharing your page’s updates when no one will see them anyway, right?
5. Share page updates to groups
I think that this is the most powerful strategy here. LinkedIn groups usually have thousands of members, so if you share your page’s updates to groups, they’re likely to be seen by many.
TIP: If you are a member of many groups, you have the option to share one update to multiple groups at a time. However, I do not recommend this because your update will go straight to the “Promotion” tab of the group instead of being posted on the “Discussion” tab. Users usually visit LinkedIn groups and often only scroll through the Discussion.
Solution: Share your updates to one group at a time in order to get your content posted on the Discussion.
There you go. I hope that you find these methods helpful!
