Getting to Know Bubblews
Bubblews has been around for a little over 2 years now, and although a lot of people have different opinion about the site as well as publishing their own Bubblews review, the site still has negative image on most individuals. There are those who call it a “scam”, but still, thousands of ‘writers’ cling to the revenue-sharing website.
I joined Bubblews on June 2013, a few months after it was born. Honestly, I just joined to see the ‘insides’ of the website, and not actually expecting to get any penny from it. The first day I joined, I wrote a ‘Welcome Post’. If you have joined a revenue-website before, you would know what it means. After that, I logged out and did other things I knew I would really benefit from.
I forgot about it and remembered joining on the website a few days later. I logged in, and I got excited when I saw a few dollars on my account. I then decided to go on and write more. I was not motivated the first few months so it took me 2 months before I was able to cashout my first earnings from Bubblews. During those times, the minimum threshold was $25.
Three days later, I saw the e-check on my PayPal. It’s legit indeed.
Getting friends with Bubblews
My next cashouts were easier than the first one. Sometimes, I would even cashout every other day. Writing for Bubblews was fun, but it also needs a lot of work - something an unemployed wouldn’t mind spending their time on.
I was not paid on Bubblews twice. And I admit that it was my mistake. I didn’t complain because I respect their rights to impose their policy, to keep the website going.
For one year, I earned hundreds (I knew of people who earned thousands from Bubblews, they are the ones who always made it to the front page), and for a while, Bubblews has been my bread and butter. But it did not last long.
Bubblews Changed
In October of 2014, there has been a lot of changes on the websites. Turns out, it was sold to a new management. I’m not sure, though, that’s what I heard. The website had a new appearance, something many people would love. At first, the earnings spiked because more people are able to make it to the frontpage. However, a few days later, the views (we earn 1 cent per views, likes and comments) decreased. On top of that, Bubblews team decided to disable its users from knowing how many views their posts have. This blinded all of Bubblews writers from getting an idea what their real earnings are. Nice move.
I continued to write for Bubblews and dragged my earnings to at least make it to the minimum threshold. It did, eventually, and I received my $50 after a month. Slowly, Bubblews became a scary old friend, someone that would make you take risks to be with.
Leaving an Old Friend
I stopped writing for Bubblews when I noticed that my earnings has been $29 for months, although I still create new posts. My earnings got stuck and eventhough I worked to make it move, I just couldn’t.
I heard of many who left and are now writing on other revenue-sharing websites. I know of some who made new websites that are just like Bubblews in hopes of keeping the system alive for those who were disappointed with how Bubblews ended up.
Is Bubblews STILL legit? They may pay other writers, but their system is hard to deal with. There are a lot of questions they left unanswered. For now, I see Bubblews as a website struggling to stay on their feet, no matter how much people hate them. I don’t hate Bubblews, but I am disappointed.
Will I Get Back?
Somehow, I still hope that Bubblews can cope with what it’s facing right now. I still hope that Bubblews will return to being one of the best revenue-sharing websites there is.
I actually believe that Arvind’s (Bubblews founder) idea is brilliant, and for a while, the website has helped a lot of people around the world, from letting them find some friends online, sharing their life with the world, and paying them in return of their hard work.
If Bubblews is able to get back on its feet, I would definitely write for them again.

UPDATE (April 2, 2016): It seems like Bubblews.com have already closed its doors. I visited their website recently and I was welcomed with a message that says they are not in business anymore, ending their message with a that goes "Thank you for being part of our website..."
I still have $30+ dollars in my Bubblews account when they shut down.
