So, you met someone and decided you are ready to show her your place? Her agreeing to your offer doesn't mean you don't need more dating advice. If you are the go-to guy for issues like "how to pick up women", I'm expecting you are already familiar with these few dating advice for men. If not, you might be surprised that there are specific things ladies are looking for when visiting a guy's place for the first time. Some might even be turned off when they don't find it! (Yes, it's an obsession, but what can you do?)

If you're someone trying to impress a girl, these unexpected things can help you. For girls, these things might give you an idea when you're finding a boyfriend.

1. Garbage can in the bathroom

Yep, you read that right! "What for?", you might ask. Well, girls are very aware of their hygiene and they are uncomfortable of peeing or changing their pads/tampons without a garbage can in sight. Don't even try telling her to just flush everything in the toilet!

2. General Cleanliness

It must be obvious the moment someone comes into your house. Having a tidy house means your girl doesn't have to spend a lot of time cleaning your place in the future.

Also, keep in mind that the smell of your house matters. Ask a friend over to tell you if your house smells bad. If you have pets, make sure their litter box is cleaned regularly and does not make the whole house smell like cat poop.

Most importantly, keep your bathroom clean.

What you put on your walls say a lot about what kind of person you are. Ladies find it stressful when they are in a room with just plain walls.

Having plants in your place gives the impression that you are responsible enough to maintain them. This will surely turn your girl on.

5. Bathroom hand soap and hand towels

A lot of guys don't usually put hand soap in their bathroom, so don't make this mistake.
