1) Wait But Why
The first thing I noticed about this blog is that there are no ads! I looked at my AdBlock and saw that there are no ads blocked. Other than his banners for Shirts for sale, there’s nothing else to see, but articles on random topics.
Like any other entertainment websites, this blog contains many interesting articles about just anything in the universe. Most of it are opinions from the blogger, which are worth reading, of course.
2) PointerPointer.com
I literally spent so much time having fun on this website. I could say they supply you with “random” photos, but no, they’re not random at all. These pictures are generated so that a person on the picture would be pointing on your mouse.
Warning: Only visit this website if you have time to pass. And I mean TIME.
You’ve been warned.
3)Windows93.Net
This website simulates like Windows OS from the early 90’s. If you haven’t seen the old Windows yet, you might want to experience it now.
Don’t ask me why it has Skype, though.
4) Wolframalpha.Com
It is basically like Google but a lot smarter. It can talk back, actually. When I first visited it, I have no idea what to search so I went ahead and typed “What are you” and it responded like it understood what I meant.
According to Reddit commenters, this website is the reason why some of them got out of school safely. Try asking it for solution to Math problems.
Good news! You can download this on your phone and look smarter anywhere you go.
5) Anism.Org
A simple website for a simple flash game that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You will have to glide on the page and catch green dots to keep playing. It gets harder, and you might not be able to close your browser.
6) Archive.Org
This website has records of billions of websites and how they looked like before. You can also experience how to browse the old websites, even if they are already deleted. One Redditor claimed that he was able to recover a file using Archive.Org.
7) A Soft Murmur
A big help for those who hate silence. It lets you create different sounds (like rain, crickets or white noise) to drown the silence.
Trivia: White noise is comforting and encourages sleep. It is sometimes used to help cure insomnia as well as help babies who find it difficult to sleep.
8) WeaveSilk.Com
Described as “Interactive Generative Art”, this tool lets you generate art simply by just clicking and dragging your mouse. There are a few amazing Weave Silk arts I found here.
9) NotPron.Com
This is a riddle website where you have to solve riddles to get past each level. It could be fun when you can rip the website off to find the answers. Some Redditors claim that they spend years moving onto the next levels.
Note: Some answers found on Google will actually lead you to the wrong path.
10) Futureme.Org
I’ve seen this on a movie once (can’t remember which one) but I never thought of checking if it really exists. Now I’m writing a letter to my future self.
