5 Reasons Why Employees Are Forced to Quit Their Job

Every adult needs to keep their job, and doesn't deserve to be forced to quit their job, unless they are married to the President, or some rich businessman (like Hef maybe?). They say, you have to love your job in order to keep it. However, there are times when you really have to quit your job because of some other reasons. Here are a few of the reasons why some employees are pushed to their limits and eventually had to submit that resignation letter.

1 | Insensitive Manager

In life, we meet different kinds of people, from different walks of life, with different attitude towards others. Most of the time, we have to deal with difficult co-worker, but what if even your manager is also difficult to deal with?

Managers can be demanding, but it has to be for a good reason - to improve your company’s products and services. But you refuse to work extra hours while your family needs you, he has to understand that. That’s the quality of a good leader, right? Sadly, there are managers who couldn’t understand how it is to have a family.

2 | Lack of Training

Lack of training means a not so productive day. There are companies who would skip the training and place their new employees in front of customers and clients who expect to receive a quick service. This is not possible with an un-trained staff. These new staffs end up getting yelled at, and messing things up in the work area. This makes them feel inefficient and a liability at work. At some point, work makes them feel miserable even when they are outside.

3 | Low Compensation

Education is a way of investing for the future. Acquired skills are also an investment. A wise person will put these talents to good use and when a company does not pay well for a skill that deserves a good pay, these employees will sure leave in no time.

4 | Getting Back to a Lower Position After a Promotion

Anyone would be really happy to be given a promotion. But when does a work promotion really matter? Stepping down on a position is not a big deal, but it becomes one when you are pushed down that ladder because a lazy and indecisive superior decides to come back to work.

This makes the affected employee drained doing most of the job while their superior does “paper work” the whole day and leaves work early.

5 | Having to Deal with Irritable Clients Every Day

This is common in call center companies where employees have to talk to irate customers who wouldn’t take an “I honestly don’t know what to do anymore” as an answer.

There are call center agents who admit that they want to commit suicide every time they leave the office. This is the kind of job that requires strong emotional being, and even people who have that still experienced being emotionally drained.

Other call center agents who are still with the company say they have been looking for another job. It’s just a matter of time, apparently.
